OVERVIEW

The Information and Communication Technology Office at Saint George University of Beirut (SGUB) invites highly qualified individuals to submit their Applications for the following vacancy:

Job Title: LMS/SIS Administrator

Reports to: Director-ICTO


JOB PURPOSE

To work as part of the ICT team helping to implement and maintain data and information systems to meet the needs of the organization. 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Acquire deep knowledge on the administration and use of Information Systems (IS) and collaboration platforms available at SGUB
  • Administer and customize applications such as LMS, SIS, ERP, Intranet Portals and others to the needs of SGUB users
  • Train end-users on the use of IS including functionalities and best practice
  • Update IS tables and databases
  • Monitor and check data input by end-users

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering-MS is a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Operating Systems, Hardware, Cloud, Web, Mobile Apps 
  • Good organizational skills, able to work under pressure, and demonstrated two-ways communication skills
  • Very good verbal and written communications skills in both English and Arabic
  • Experience in using management information systems in Higher Education sector
