FACULTY OF MEDICINE NEW STUDENTS
New Students must apply for Financial Aid within 10 days of receiving their acceptance letter.
Current SGUB Students must apply for Financial Aid by Wednesday April 30, 2025.
Late applications will not be considered.
Note: The Financial Aid deadline for the waitlisted Faculty of Medicine applicants will be announced after acceptance letters are issued.

Welcome to our financial aid application process. To ensure a smooth experience, please follow these steps carefully:
Application Steps
Step 1: Complete Your Application
Complete the Financial Aid application form in its entirety. Ensure all fields are filled out accurately to avoid processing delays.

Step 2: Prepare the Required Documents
Gather all required documents as specified in page 3 of the application. Each document must be complete and clearly legible.
Step 3: Submit Your Application
Choose one of the following submission methods:
Option A: Electronic Submission
a. Send to: financial-aid@sgub.edu.lb
b. Format: PDF or JPG (high resolution)
c. Send the application and required documents in a single email. Documents should be:
· Clearly labeled
· Easy to read
Option B: In-Person Submission
· Deliver documents to the Student Affairs Office
Ensure all papers are properly organized
Important Notice
Incomplete financial aid documents will result in:
· Inability to participate in the Financial Aid Interview
· Delays in the decision-making process

Renewal Process for Existing Financial Aid Recipients
Students who received Financial Aid for the 2024-2025 academic year will automatically have their aid percentage carried forward to 2025-2026, provided they:
Reapplication Due to Changed Circumstances
Students must reapply only if they have experienced significant changes in their financial or personal situation (recent death, recent loss of a job…). To do so:

Students who did not apply for Financial Aid in 2024-2025 may submit new applications for the 2025-2026 academic year. To apply:

Merit Scholarship & Additional Support
New Undergraduate Students
Our merit-based scholarship program offers awards totaling up to a cumulative 25% of tuition fees, based on:
· Secondary school academic performance (Grades 10-12)
· Baccalaureate examination results
These scholarships are automatically considered with admission; no separate application is required.
Faculty-Sponsored Financial Support
With the increasing demand for Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Chemistry professionals, SGUB is investing in the next generation of experts through a tuition reduction initiative.

Non-Academic Related Financial Support
Beyond merit scholarships and financial aid, SGUB partners with various entities and institutions in the public and private sector.
Current Students
Continuing students are eligible for scholarships based on their cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA). Awards are assessed annually according to academic performance.
