Currently recruiting qualified Hospitalist Physicians to join our team of physicians. Responsible for managing the entire treatment process for our patients and providing excellent in-house patient care.

Job Title: Hospitalist Physician Reports to: Chief Medical Officer
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provides excellent patient care
Takes patient medical histories
Updates patient information and charts with the latest findings and treatments
Reviews and interprets test results
Educates, counsels, and assists patients and families regarding current health problems and health maintenance activities
Responds to questions and concerns from patients about their health care and well-being
Cooperates with various medical staff, such as anesthesiologists, surgeons, internal medicine specialists /subspecialists, pediatricians and nurses, to provide patient care
Monitors patients' conditions and progress and revaluates treatments as necessary
Share information both when requested and when anticipating someone might have a need
Mentors’ medical students
Maintains punctual presence for assigned work days/nights and weekends, in compliance with SGHUMC Human Resources policy on attendance
Adheres to the bylaws of SGHUMC
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
MD or professional degree in medicine from an accredited medical school
2 to 3 years of hospitalist experience
Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics
Having the Colloquium and license to practice medicine from MOPH
Competencies:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attentive to details and have good problem-solving skills
Able to manage time and set a plan of action prioritizing work
Responsive to critical situations maintaining confidence and a positive attitude
Strong team working and collaborative skills
