On May 8, 2025, Saint George University of Beirut proudly celebrated its first International Nurses Day, honoring the dedication, compassion, and strength of our future nursing professionals. This significant milestone marks the beginning of a journey rooted in care, resilience, and purpose for the students of our newly established Faculty of Nursing.
The celebration brought together staff and faculty members from across the university in a vibrant, engaging event. Attendees participated in interactive games and activities, exchanged thoughtful gifts, and enjoyed a heartfelt session with Head Nurse Pamela Zeinoun, who shared her inspiring personal journey in the nursing profession.
To conclude the day, SGUB students distributed flower bouquets to nurses at SGHUMC, in a touching gesture of appreciation for their tireless service and commitment. The event stood as a moving reminder of the vital role nurses play in shaping a healthier and more compassionate future.
