Job Title: Educator/Senior Educator for an Introduction to Psychology course
Reports to: Chair – Department of Biology
JOB PURPOSE
Engage undergraduate students in their own education in psychology using active learning and outcome-based approaches.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
To collaborate with other faculty members to establish an educational culture that is rooted in student engagement, respect, and empathy. This includes applying novel educational paradigms and mechanisms of assessing student performance.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
Ph.D. or Master's degree in Psychology or a related discipline.
Significant teaching experience, especially in a university setting.
