Prof Al-Majeed has several years of experience in academia, running teaching, research, management, and leadership programs nationally and internationally. He understands the hard work, excitement, dedication, and rewards in thriving institutions. Currently, he is leading the IEEE UK and Ireland STEM & Education Activities, alongside his academic and leadership role as an Acting Head of School of Computer Science at the University of Lincoln, UK. In addition to his role as academic and manager, Salah has an extensive portfolio of Industrial, Academia, and R&D works, leading the innovation of implementing technologies. Conduct research into issues and challenges in data exploration through Wireless Networks (4G and 5G) and the Internet of Things (IoT). His research projects were supported and funded by the UK, EU, and International organizations and companies. The importance of his research approach is evidenced by the numerous well-received talks and presentations at national and international conferences and the status of the global academic and professional journals where he publishes his work. Prof Al-Majeed is an Editor-in-Chief of Computer Science Engineering: An International Journal, and Editorial Member, International Journal of Computer Science, Engineering, and Applications. Besides his recognition as a Senior Member of IEEE, he is a reviewer for many well-known journals, including IEEE transactions and an invited keynote speaker for many international conferences and events.
