What is SUPP?

The Special Undergraduate Pre-medical Program (SUPP) at SGUB is an intensive two-semester program designed for university graduates coming from diverse academic backgrounds and interested in pursuing a career in medicine. This program provides a solid foundation in the biomedical sciences through active learning and offers students the opportunity to apply to Medical School at SGUB.

SUPP Outcomes

All students enrolled in the SUPP will gain a solid foundation in biomedical sciences and students securing a minimum GPA of 3.5 during the Fall semester will be invited to the SGUB Medical School interview as part of the regular final interview batch, prior to the completion of the program. However, admission to Medical School is not guaranteed and remains subject to the SGUB Medical School’s admission criteria and institutional policies. Any offer of admission to Medical School will be conditional upon successful completion of the SUPP and achievement of the minimum required final GPA of 3.5. Upon successful completion of the SUPP, all students will receive an official transcript and a certificate of completion.
