This cherished event marked a significant milestone for our 47 medical students as they embarked on their journey into the medical profession. The White Coat Ceremony symbolizes the transition of medical students into the clinical realm, emphasizing the responsibilities and ethical commitments inherent in the practice of medicine.
Held in the patio between SGUB and SGHUMC, the ceremony was graced with the presence of His Eminence Metropolitan Elias Audi, distinguished guests, colleagues, and parents.
Speeches were delivered by Dr. Alexandre Nehme, Dean of the SGUB Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ziad Haydar, CEO of SGHUMC, Mr. Louis Slaiby, Class representative, and His Eminence Metropolitan Elias Audi. Each offered words of wisdom, encouragement, and advice to the students. Their inspiring messages resonated deeply with all in attendance, instilling a sense of purpose and dedication as the students embarked on this noble path in medicine.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students who received their white coats, symbolizing their commitment to excellence, compassion, and integrity in the medical profession. We are immensely proud of their accomplishments and look forward to witnessing their continued growth and success.
